Time to pack! A magnifying glass, a soft brush, a map, and a snack of juicy blueberries. Ready, Sammy?
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Off you go, Sammy! Stomp, stomp, ROAR!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Dig, dig, dig. Brush, brush, brush. What is that?
Voorbeeldafbeelding
A stone egg! It glows. It hums. Then... WHOOSH!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
You land in a land of giant ferns. Long, long ago, dinosaurs lived here!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Stomp, stomp, ROAR! A long-neck dinosaur munches the treetops.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Then you hear a tiny sound behind the ferns. Squeak!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
You peek behind the ferns
Voorbeeldafbeelding
A baby triceratops! “Hello, I’m Sammy.” It tries to ROAR back... but out comes a tiny squeak.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Far away, a big T. rex ROARS. The baby hangs its head. It wishes it had a big roar too.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
You sit beside it. “I’m small too,” you say. “But small can still do big things.”
Voorbeeldafbeelding
You share your juicy berries. Munch, munch. Now you are friends!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Splash in puddles. Hide in ferns. What a fun day, Sammy!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Then... RUMBLE, RUMBLE! The ground shakes. The volcano puffs a big gray cloud.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Rocks tumble down the hill. Now a big wall of rocks blocks the path. The baby’s family is on the other side!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Your tummy flips. The baby shivers. You hold it close and take a deep breath.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
You look through your magnifying glass. Look! A small gap between two big rocks.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Too small for big dinosaurs. Just right for you two! Squeeze, squeeze... you’re through!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
On the other side, Mama calls: ROAR! ROAR! But the wind is too loud. She can’t hear you, Sammy!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Then you have an idea. “Big roars get lost in the wind. But your squeak is high and clear. Try it!”
Voorbeeldafbeelding
The baby takes a deep breath... SQUEAK! The tiny sound zips high above the wind.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Mama hears it! Stomp, stomp, STOMP! Something big is coming through the dust!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
It's Mama! The baby runs into her big, warm hug. You did it, Sammy!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
The whole herd cheers for the baby. Even the big T. rex joins in. That little squeak saved the day!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
The stone egg glows again. Time to go home. Mama gives you a gentle nose boop. Bye-bye, Sammy!
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Whoosh! You’re back in your sandbox. Small voices and small friends can do big things. Be proud of being you.
Voorbeeldafbeelding
Goodnight, Sammy. Stomp, stomp... squeak! Sweet dino dreams.
