Good morning, Sammy! Cape on. Belt on. Today you are a superhero!
Exempelbild
Click, click, click. Your super belt holds three things: a flashlight, a whistle, and super-sticky tape.
Exempelbild
Hands on hips. Cape in the wind. Hero time, Sammy!
Exempelbild
WHOOSH! Up, up, and away over the busy city!
Exempelbild
Zoom! A red balloon floats away from a little boy. You catch it just in time!
Exempelbild
The kids in the park cheer. “Hooray! That super cape makes you a superhero!”
Exempelbild
Swoop, swoop, around the tall trees... then RIIIP!
Exempelbild
Bump! You land softly in a pile of leaves.
Exempelbild
Your cape is torn. Now you can’t fly.
Exempelbild
Broken cape. No flying. Are you still a superhero, Sammy?
Exempelbild
Then you hear a tiny sound from the playground. Mew... mew
Exempelbild
Kids crowd around the long tube slide. Something is inside
Exempelbild
A little kitten is stuck deep in the dark tube. It’s too scared to come out.
Exempelbild
Your tummy flutters. Your cape is ripped. No flying. But your heart says you can still help.
Exempelbild
You take a deep breath, Sammy. Ripped cape and all. Hands on hips. Brave heart on!
Exempelbild
Click! You shine your flashlight inside. Two shiny green eyes blink back.
Exempelbild
You crawl in slowly and softly, your ripped cape trailing behind. “It’s okay, little one. I’m Sammy. I’m here.”
Exempelbild
The kitten creeps closer... closer... and snuggles into your arms. Gentle is brave too.
Exempelbild
You crawl out carefully. But whose kitten is this?
Exempelbild
TWEEEET! You blow your whistle. Heroes know when to call for help. Everyone looks up.
Exempelbild
A little girl comes running. “My kitten!” Hug, hug. Purr, purr.
Exempelbild
“You saved my kitten! You’re a real superhero, Sammy!”
Exempelbild
“But my cape is ripped,” you say. The little girl smiles. “You didn’t need a cape!”
Exempelbild
You patch your ripped cape anyway. Stick, stick, press! Now it has a story to tell.
Exempelbild
Hands on hips. Brave heart on. Hero time! Cape or no cape, the whole park cheers.
Exempelbild
A cape can’t make you brave. Flying can’t make you kind. A real hero has a brave, kind heart.
Exempelbild
Home at sunset, you hang up your cape. But your brave, kind heart stays with you, Sammy.
Exempelbild
Goodnight, Sammy. Cape off. Brave heart on. Sweet hero dreams.
